Private bathroom in the Wisteria cottage
She’ll take you right back in time – the original double cast iron bedstead is still in use, and the vintage dressing table and mirror add a touch of glamour. For even more authenticity, Kitty and Paddy might even be able to provide you with some real Cornish ale if you ask in advance! Just across the yard, the descriptively named
Wisteria Cottage houses a light modern bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen all of your own as well as a spacious living area with a large wood burner which keeps you nice and cosy. When it’s in bloom, the wisteria spreads all the way over the front of the cottage – on warm nights, throw open the windows and let the smell of the flowers waft in as you drop off.
There’s a hamper provided for you to pack up a picnic and go off exploring the area, maybe down to the beach for surfing, walking across Dartmoor or wandering through the local villages and visiting the markets.
